UGA Early National Signing Day 2023: Full list of players who have committed

A total of 28 recruits signed with the Bulldogs on Wednesday -- and there were some surprises.

ATHENS, Ga. — It's Early National Signing Day! High school football standouts across the nation announced their decisions on which college they will attend.

A total of 28 recruits signed with the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday -- and there were some surprises.

"I'm really excited about this class. Obviously, it started long before this time last year. We're really confident in our evaluations. We do a thorough job," UGA Head Coach Kirby Smart said at a press conference.

Smart said that 25 of the 28 signees are multi-sport athletes from 13 different states.

"More important than all that is the kind of kids they are. I'm excited to get them to come in and work," he added.

After KJ Bolden previously made a verbal commitment to Florida State, he ended up officially signing with the Bulldogs. The Buford High School five-star safety took to social media to announce he's staying with his home state.

Bolden said he made his decision based on what's best for him.

"I just told coach, like I want to play against the best. I want to practice with the best, develop into one of the best and be one of the... best in the nation. 'Why not go to one the best programs in the nation?'" he said.
