André Soares

André Batalha Soares was born in 1993 in Porto, Portugal. He studied with Joana Godinho from 2010 to 2015. And in 2022, he achieved an undergraduate degree from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. André is currently studying on the master’s in advanced Opera Performance Course at Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. His recent engagements include: Frank Die Fledermaus (Guildhall School of Music & Drama), Benoit/Alcindoro La bohème (North Wales Opera Studio) and Guglielmo Così fan tutte (Cardiff Opera).
