Carmen Miranda was a Portuguese-born Brazilian samba singer, dancer, Broadway actress, and film star who was popular from the 1930s to the 1950s. Nicknamed "The Brazilian Bombshell", Miranda is noted for her signature fruit hat outfit she wore in her American films. She was ahead of her time, a true style icon, and still manages to capture the hearts of every single person who sees her films.
Carmen's style has inspired us greatly in creating our Carmen set which is a tropical printed top and skirt set, adorned with ruffles. We wanted to create something that was sexy, fun, and comfortable. This set is limited edition but we love it so much that we plan on making it in a variety of colors and prints for S/S 2020!
