The Introducing Series at The Window at 125 is an initiative that creates occasions for emerging artists to be formally introduced by an advocate of their work and champion of their future career. Artists will come from a spectrum of disciplines, including visual artists to performance artists, writers to musicians, film-makers.
The Staff Artists program at Vermont Studio Center features a rotating group of artists and writers who work in Johnson for a year. VSC is thrilled to highlight the work of their Staff Artists for Season 7 of The Introducing Series. In keeping with the existing concept of Window at 125’s Introducing program, but with a revised structure, each artist chosen will become a “champion” of one of their peers and nominate the following artist. A series of discussions held at the hotel between each artist and champion will introduce them to the public. vermontstudiocenter.org
The Window at 125 is a re purposed Lilliputian street level window space dedicated to showing emerging, unrepresented artists’ work to a midtown audience.
