Kim Kardashian (born October 21, 1980) is an American reality television personality and businesswoman. The daughter of prominent attorney Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner, Kardashian first rose to prominence as a socialite in Paris Hilton's circle. After her sex tape with singer Ray J was leaked in 2007, Kardashian gained significant media attention as her family began the first season of their reality program "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." The show ran for 20 seasons on E!, catapulting Kardashian and her family to global fame. In the following years, she went on to pose for Playboy, compete on "Dancing with the Stars" and guest star in series like "How I Met Your Mother" and "CSI: NY." She also dabbled in music, releasing the single "Jam (Turn It Up)" in 2010. In 2019, Kardashian founded shape-wear and clothing brand Skims with Emma and Jen Grede. As of January 2022, Skims was valued at over $3.2 billion.

In March 2022, Kardashian and her family appeared on the cover of Variety, stirring viral outrage when she revealed her advice for women in business: "Get your f---ing ass up and work." Since 2022, Kardashian and her family have appeared on Hulu's "The Kardashians." She is a proponent of prison reform, and has visited the White House to advocate on behalf of incarcerated individuals. Kardashian has been married three times: to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004; to basketball player Kris Humphries from 2011 to 2013; and to rapper Kanye West from 2014 to 2022. She shares four children with West.
