Louis Garrel (born June 14, 1983 in Paris) is a French actor, screenwriter and director.
He is the son of French director Phillippe Garrel, the brother of actress Esther Garrel and the grandson of actor Maurice Garrel. His did his acting debut at the age of six in one of his father's films before starting a professional career in The 2000s. Known for playing in intimate arthouse films, he also played in various international productions.
He married model and actress Laetitia Casta in 2017, who's appeared in several of his directing projects. They have a child together, born in 2021.
