Bruno Cremer (October 6, 1929 - August 7, 2010) was a French actor of Belgian descent.

A charismatic stage and screen actor who was especially good at portraying intense characters with Icy Blue Eyes, he played in over 60 films and 24 TV series. He rose to prominence on stage with acclaimed performances of William Shakespeare's Pericles, Prince of Tyre, Oscar Wilde's An Ideal Husband and Jean Anouilh's Poor Bitos and Becket.

His most famous role was the great sleuth Commissioner Jules Maigret, which he portrayed in a 54 episodes/TV film series between 1991 and 2005. He was the second most prolific in the role after Jean Richard, and Georges Simenon purists tend to consider his portrayal as the definitive one for the character.

He is the father of writer Stéphane Cremer.
