Robert Moore



Robert Moore is an award-winning investigative journalist. His illustrious career has been spent with the ITN as their Diplomatic and Foreign Affairs Editor, their Middle East Correspondent, and their Washington Correspondent. Today, he works with the ITV News Correspondent. His awards include the International News Prize at the 1996 Royal Television Society Journalism Awards and two gold medals at the New York Film & TV Festival.


In 2021, Robert received critical acclaim for his insightful and brave report as the only journalist inside the Washington Capital building invasion, garnering over 11 million views on Twitter. For his exceptional reporting, he was awarded Journalist of the Year 2021 by FPA London and Press Gazette. ITV's follow-up documentary won Best News/Current Affairs Programme at the Broadcast Awards, two awards at the Royal Television Society Awards, where Robert also took home the Network Television Journalist of the Year, and a BAFTA.


Alongside this, Robert co-presents the hit ITV News podcast Trump Lost! What Now? and wrote A Time To Die: The Untold Story of the Kursk Tragedy, which was turned into the 2018 film Kursk starring Colin Firth and Lea Seydoux.
