CTO at Komgo

Guy de Pourtalès has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2002, they served as a Project Manager at CN Serpentine SA, where they managed the implementation of the Serpentine automated vehicles system. From 2006 to 2010, they worked at Ville de Lausanne in various roles, including Head of Object Oriented Development and Head of Applications and Software Development. During this time, they were responsible for managing a team and overseeing the deployment of business software solutions.

In 2010, Guy joined NXC (Suisse) Sàrl as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Solution Architect until 2013. In 2012, they served as a Senior Technical Advisor and later became the CTO at Sapphire Innovation until 2016. Guy then moved to eGTSA, where they served as the CTO, leading the technical roadmap of their product suite until 2020.

From 2016 onwards, Guy held multiple roles at Skioo, including Senior Software Architect & Developer as well as General Manager. Guy also worked as the COO at Skitude from 2019 to 2020. In 2017, they founded and owned their own company, Pakker.io.

In 2020, Guy took on two new roles as the CTO at komgo and as a Senior Information Technology Advisor at FIATA_International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations. Overall, Guy has demonstrated expertise in technology leadership, software development, project management, and strategic planning across their various positions.

Guy de Pourtalès began their education at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 1991 and completed their Master's degree in Architecture in 1996. Guy then attended Gymnase Cantonal de Neuchâtel from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Matura in Sciences, which is required for University admission.

In 2013, Guy de Pourtalès took a course on Scala through Coursera, although they did not receive a degree or specify a field of study. Continuing their education, they obtained certifications in various fields. This includes "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera in December 2013, "SkiData Integration" from SKIDATA AG in October 2011, and "Liferay Developer" from Liferay, Inc. in March 2010.
