David Sexton

David Sexton has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of genomics and bioinformatics. David is currently working as the VP of Digital Lab Systems at Harbinger Health since 2022. David's career started at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where they worked as the Director of Computational Genomics Core from 2005 to 2011. In this role, they managed the daily operations of a scientific core research facility and provided services, support, and training to faculty and staff. David also led informatics projects through the software development lifecycle.

Before Vanderbilt, David served as the Director of Bioinformatics at BioVentures, Inc from 2002 to 2004. David also worked as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Invitrogen from 2001 to 2002 and as a Sequence Analyst at Myriad Genetics from 1996 to 2001.

David's early career began at the University of Arizona, where they worked as a Research Assistant II from 1992 to 1996.
