The Heroine’s Journey of Kathinka Pasveer

What is the best thing that I love about my work? My work is my life, my life is my work so I absolutely love everything about it. Not only performing, practicing myself, doing sound projection, but also working with other musicians, answering questions about performance practice, working at the Stockhausen-Verlag, but also packing the weekly orders of Stockhausen-Scores, CDs and books, thus being of service to the music.

What is my idea of happiness? My happiness should not be dependent on outer circumstances, which are not always the way I would like it. My inner happiness should not be touched by other people or circumstances but is a prerequisite to live a full life and be productive and creative. So, I accept everything that comes, and trust that it is exactly as it should be, and know that different situations will help me to grow everyday.
