Patrick Garfield Duffy (born March 17, 1949) is an American actor. He is best known for his role on the CBS primetime soap opera Dallas, where he played Bobby Ewing from 1978 to 1985 and from 1986 to 1991. Duffy returned as Bobby in a continuation of Dallas from 2012 to 2014.

Duffy was born in Townsend, Montana.[1][2] He was raised in Everett, Washington and in Eagle Point, Oregon. He studied at the University of Washington. He was married to Carlyn Rosser from 1974 until her death in 2017. They had two children.
