Powered by a 2.8 GHz Intel Atom C5125 8-Core processor, the TS-1655 presents a secure, scalable, and complete business-ready storage solution for cross-team file sharing, collaboration, backup & disaster recovery, virtualization, and intensive data transmission. The TS-1655 will be available and supported by QNAP with a limited 3-year warranty, with an optional 2-year extension, for a total of five years, making it ideal for businesses requiring matching NAS models deployed in multiple locations.

Also featured is 8GB of DDR4 RAM, which can be upgraded to 128GB by installing one 32GB module in each of the four DIMM slots, as well as two M.2 PCIe 3.0 x2 slots for installing M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs or Edge TPU to boost performance. Using the four USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, this QNAP NAS can be connected to other external devices. Network connectivity is achieved using the two Gigabit Ethernet ports, although there are three PCIe 3.0 x4 slots that can support 5/10/25GbE network cards, a QM2 card that supports M.2 SSDs and 2.5/10GbE, or a SAS/SATA expansion card for petabyte-scale storage capacity. This NAS also supports JBOD and a variety of RAID modes, including RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60, each of which offer data redundancy, speed, or a combination of both.
