Léa Seydoux Shares How She and Florence Pugh Shopped for Stilettos While Shooting Dune 2 in Italy (Exclusive)

Seydoux spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about bonding with her 'Dune: Part Two' costar at the film's New York City premiere on Sunday

Florence Pugh and Léa Seydoux are shopping buddies!

At the New York City premiere of Dune: Part Two on Sunday, Seydoux shared that she and her costar in the film bonded over some retail therapy while shooting on location in Italy.

“With Florence, we went into a little shop because it was ... can't remember the name of the village, but she loves very high heels — stilettos, ” Seydoux, 38, told PEOPLE during the star-studded premiere, which was held at Lincoln Center. "I was more into very simple shirts."

She continued of the "great" experience with Pugh, 28, “It was funny, because I don't think the people knew that we were actors. We were kind of lost in this little village, and it was very nice."

Seydoux stars with Pugh in Dune: Part Two alongside fellow new cast members Austin Butler, Christopher Walken and Anya Taylor-Joy.

Also in the sequel are returning stars Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling and Javier Bardem.

At the premiere on Sunday, Seydoux shared that she had a “great time off set” with the cast as they spent time together outside of filming.

“We had dinner with Austin and Florence, ... Florence, she's very funny,” Seydoux told PEOPLE. " ... And we also spent some time in Italy. We shot there in a small village, a very charming village.”

“We had very good pasta and we were, yeah. They are so young, this crew, they're also full of energy and vitality that it's so inspiring,” the French actress added.

Seydoux made a glamorous appearance at the Dune: Part Two premiere Sunday evening in a cream-colored custom Louis Vuitton cape gown decorated with floral sequin embroidery. 

The No Time to Die actress caught up on the red carpet with costar Pugh, who wore an elegant metallic gray Valentino Haute Couture gown for the event, as the pair posed for photos together.

Lead star Zendaya, 27, stepped out in an off-white Stephane Rolland SS24 Couture dress with gold metallic detailing at the hem and Serpenti rings by Bulgari.

Meanwhile, Taylor-Joy, 27, looked ravishing in a gold Maison Margiela SS24 Couture gown with a black sheer overlay and full skirt.

Dune: Part Two is in theaters Friday.
