The body of Peaches Geldof has been released to her family for funeral arrangements to be made, a day after an autopsy on the British model, writer and TV presenter proved inconclusive.

“We can confirm that the body has been released to the family for funeral arrangements to be made,” a spokesman for the North West Kent coroner told the BBC.

The 25-year-old daughter of British rocker Bob Geldof was found dead in a house in Kent on Monday. The results of toxicology tests, which may help determine the cause of death, will be available in a few weeks.

Police have said they are treating the case as an “unexplained sudden death” and are not treating it as suspicious.
