My Electrolux dryer EFMG627UTT1 was purchased in 2021 and had the older filter grille, so that needed to be replaced too in order for the new lint filter to fit. The hardest part of this install was having to disconnect the moisture sensor from the old grille and attaching the moisture sensor of the new grille. You can’t get to the moisture sensor connection without taking off the top and the front panels of the dryer unit. But once we got through that, the install went well. The new filter seems to fit much better than the older model, and the newer moisture sensor also seems to work better. Very happy with the replacement part from Parts Dr.
