JACQUELYN WAGNER IN DER FREISCHÜTZ IN ZÜRICH

On September 29, 2019, Jacquelyn Wagner will make her house debut at the Opernhaus Zürich as Agathe in a Herbert Fritsch staging of Der Freischütz conducted by Axel Kober alongside Benjamin Bruns, Lydia Teuscher, Christof Fischesser, Michael Hauenstein, Oliver Widmer, Ildo Song and Yannick Debus. There will be a total of five performances with the last one taking place on October 27.

Jacquelyn Wagner has previously sung the role of Agathe in Toulon. Last year, she triumphed in another Weber opera at the Theater an der Wien, where she sang the title role of Euryanthe. Last month, a recording of the run has been released on CD by Capriccio.

After this Freischütz in Zurich, Jacquelyn Wagner will make her role debut as Elsa in Lohengrin at the Felsenreitschule in Salzburg, will return to the Deutsche Oper Berlin as Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus, will make her role debut as Alcina at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Dusseldorf and will reprise her acclaimed portrayals of Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni at the Paris Opera.
