Sadiq Aman Khan becomes first-ever Muslim Mayor of London

LONDON: According to the provisional results,  member of the Labor Party, 46-year-old British politician  and solicitor of Pakistani descent Sadiq Aman Khan, has been elected the first Muslim Mayor of London.
Khan has acquired 44% votes whereas, Conservative politician and journalist Zac Goldsmith was declared runner-up with 35% votes.
New Mayor of London is a law graduate from University of North London. He has been a Member of Parliament since 2005.
