HAS A VOLUME CONTROL HEADPHONE JACK THAT'S WORKING GREAT, WORKING GREAT. PLEASE READ LISTING IN ITS ENTIRETY.
Please note I did pick up some reflections in some of the pictures, these are not imperfections.

I will do my best here to describe this Philips.
On the back of the unit the RCA's, coaxial, optical, s-video all working as they should.
On the front of unit it powers right up with a nice soft blue easy read display, disc tray opens and closes smoothly, all push buttons disc, play, pause, next, prev. etc. all working as they should.
Buy with some confidence this Philips was tested to the best of my ability without an owners manual and was used for a month plus with no issues and this is what I came up with.
Powers right up and has a beautiful soft blue color easy to read display. I played a large variety of DVD's, CD's.
Though I don't see many people saying what they heard. I hooked this Philips up to a high end Yamaha receiver using Canton LE 2 way speakers and using a Samsung TV. The DVD videos I used were "Horrible Bosses" and "DodgeBall" and I was really taken aback at the picture quality this Philips was able to produce I assume because of the smart picture feature.
On CD's: the better recorded CD's the better the return. The two that really stood out was a Bucky Pizzarelli and Diane Schuur Master CD's. These are blow you away CD's that I listen to over and over again and keep hearing things I didn't hear previously. I also assume the dual discrete class 1 laser had a lot to do with the audio performance both on DVD's and CD's. Hopefully you will be as taken aback as I was.
