It’s been a hot minute since Perfect New World, the latest Perfect World spinoff, completed its “exploratory closed beta test” in May. Since then, developer Ironcore Game Studio has been busy reviewing player feedback and has now outlined a long list of changes coming to the game.

Some of the more notable changes include updates to the Steam version of the MMORPG, including adding more content to the open-world map, new class types, improving controls, and implementing measures to keep PvP fair such as one-on-one duels and objective-focused battlegrounds. The team also plans to introduce more gear enhancement options, talents, and spirit beasts, along with various quality-of-life improvements, added character customization options, and the highly-requested ability to skip cutscenes.

The studio aims to have these adjustments ready for the next test phase, although no specific details have been given on when that will be. It’s probably going to be a while though. We’ll be sure to keep you updated. In the meantime, you can check out a rundown of the upcoming changes on the Perfect New World Steam page.
