The included accident-free Carfax report shows consistent registration renewals in New Jersey from 1991 - 2021, at which time a new owner was reported and the vehicle moved to Florida. Jaguar's XJS was produced from 1975 through 1996. The car received its first round of updates in 1981, including to the engine. Jaguar’s 5.3L V12 engine received a new “Fire Ball” combustion chamber to help efficiency, with increased quoted output of 263 horsepower as an additional benefit. Most models feature contemporary luxury features such as leather and wood trim, heated seats, cruise control, trip computer, and more. After 21 years, production ceased in 1996.
