"Already captivated by Frederik Bille Brahe's other gem Atelier September, I knew that I would love Apollo Bar too! We came for late morning snack and there were plenty of open cafe tables to sit and enjoy the beautiful summertime weather. To start, we ordered the freshly squeezed citrus juice (emphasis on "freshly squeezed", a rarity these days) and the croissant, which was laden with flaky, butter, pull-apart layers (the mark of a great croissant, in my opinion). Then we tried the beef tartare which came with interesting little touches and the housemade sourdough bread which came with a delicious whipped ricotta/olive oil/balsamic dip. So special what they are doing here. My kind of place."
