What a disappointment we were just hoping for a lovely sunny afternoon at the roof restaurant the reception we got was cold and dismissive there were many open spaces outside but we were told there was "nothing" by the snotty rude girl at the door we finally asked to sit at the completely empty bar got a lovely server but still a bad taste in our mouth! This is our 23rd visit to paris how sad to reinforce what many believe is the French attitude

We ate here in the off season. It's open a bit earlier than other places for dinner which is wonderful for us! The food was all delicious and well priced. The set menu was a terrific deal and the portions were very large. The creme brûlée was very good and eggy.
Service was stellar. Very attentive and provided great suggestions for wine. Great experience and food!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sara S.Costa Mesa, CA326432Sep 7, 2019
This restaurant has amazing food. We didn't understand the menu and just took a risk. Mouth watering food. Service is great as well. Bring your appetite because it is a 3 coarse meal! Get the cheese salad and veal. It's a little hard to find the sign is not well done and a little broken. A scenic drive to get there.

We were so happy to find this restaurant as we were driving around looking for dinner! The hostess was charming and the food yummy. We both had salads, which were filling but not heavy. We also shared fruit crumbles for desert. Nice place to sit outside for dinner. There is some traffic but it didn't bother us at all.

We were referred to Le Cheval Blanc by a champagne proprietor in Etoges who recommended their lunches. When we arrived, he was sitting at a table enjoying a leisurely meal. Located in the charming village of Montmart-Lucy, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and selections. A prix fixe menu of about E17 included amuse bouche, a large first course, entrée, and dessert. Many a la carte items were also available. An unusual salad consisted of bacon and beef atop greens. A delicious fois gras en croute was served with a small side salad. Fish, vegetable soup, hamburger, frites were all well prepared. Everything is served on very pretty mis-matched plates, adding to the charm of this country inn. Dessert was a seasonal crumble and a big hunk of triple cream brie with nuts. The inside is old-fashioned yet inviting and cozy. Montmmort-Lucy is a charming village with a chateau right out of the Adams family.
