Metro Můstek is a metro station in the New Town of Prague. It opened in 1978 and serves the lower end of Wenceslas Square with two island platforms.

The platform area is pretty with silver and gold signage.

This station does have a lift signposted at each entrance, but you are able to use steps, which I prefer as it seems to be a given that subway station lifts stink of urine.

As with any Metro Station in Prague, remember to buy a ticket before you board using the ticket machines. They have an English language if you prefer. You must also validate this ticket before boarding. Unlike other subway systems, there aren't traditional ticket gates, so don't get caught out or you'll risk a large fine.

It acts as an interchange station between Lines A and B, and I did find it straightforward to get both in and out of the station and between lines if needed using the steps and escalators. I'm not sure about the lift route, but with they were well-signposted.

3* - Pretty average station along the Prague Metro network, the location is useful.

Můstek is an interchange station on the Prague Metro, serving both Line A and Line B. Each of the lines has separate platforms and there are corridors between them. The station is handicapped accessible.

There are escalators from the platform/ticketing concourse to street level. The usual ticket vending machines and ticket validation machines are present. There is no parking here and no bicycle storage.

As you pass through the station, look for the old bridge, Můstek translates to "little bridge."

On Line A, Můstek is between Staroměstská (toward Nemocnice Motol) and Muzeum (toward Depo Hostivař). On Line B, Můstek is between Národní třída (toward Zličín) and Náměstí Republiky (toward Černý Most).

      Little Bridge!
This metro station is a big spot to transfer between the 1 and 2 lines. It's a pretty efficient station, with clean walkways and working escalators.
They look like they were built in the late 70's or early 80's with the design.
When they were excavating for this subway area, the builders happened onto a little brick bridge, that you can still check out as you walk through the underground! Cool!
This is a pretty spacious underground area- the lines aren't exactly on top of each other, so there's a bit of walking involved.
Tickets are easy, with a ticket kiosk available in English, but no employees working.
