We stopped in for Escargot and onion soup after the visit to the Eiffel Tower.
Both were good but not great. And quite expensive for what I have been paying in Paris for the same or similar.
But it was lively and fun to be there.
Prob not getting a second visit.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 1 - Jul 9, 2022
We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here. It was a glamorous evening at an old school ornate beautiful French seafood restaurant with excellent staff who were professional, but friendly, and made sure everything was done right.
We had everything from the foie gras, langoustines, and whole roasted Sole Meuniere, to the Millefeuille for dessert. It was a wonderful evening.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 1 - Yukang Z.Downtown, Binghamton, NY02Apr 20, 2024
They deserve a worst service award. Just turn around and find another cafe! The price is so high for what I get.

Went here for Christmas Eve for dinner. Seafood was our theme. We started with the large gillardeau oysters (with letter G layered on the outer shells). They were nice. We were given a cold amuse-bouche of a seafood salad with a radish garnish. We had the tandoori monkfish, sole (de-boned tableside), octopus with tomato salad, and lobster risotto. All tasted fine, but the monkfish came out cold. We had the chocolate gianduja Christmas dessert and the rum millefeuille. Not a fan of the latter, but the former could be eaten anytime of the year. Service was good and reminded one of the late 90s.

This was the best meal we had in all 6 countries we visited this trip. The view of the Eiffel Tower all lit up at night was stunning as well, and our waiter just elevated the experience. We ended up spending a good 3.5 hours eating, drinking and visiting with guests at neighboring tables. The ambiance was lovely and I would absolutely dine here the next time we're in Paris.

This cafe across the street from La Rotonde is in a good location. Then again so are dozens of other street cafes. Yet here where the waiter barely looked at us and we inhaled smoke from our near by neighbor we drank two small glasses of champagne that cost 38e. Definitely not worth it. Find another quaint French cafe to have your glass of champagne.

Amazing. We are big foodies and this place, for not being Michelin, is a great value. The service is impeccable, the seafood is incredibly fresh, prices are fair and atmosphere is solid. Will come back.

Food is below mediocre especially for Paris. We went here because Anthony Bourdain said it was his favorite restaurant in Paris but this place is not it. Interior is super old school and the entire restaurant is filled with tourists or the elderly. I'm very upset I wasted a dinner in Paris eating here.
