Just drove in town and was hungry for a hearty meal. The food and service was promptly and good. Portions are great.

We had an enjoyable dinner here during the Christmas Market. The restaurant itself i picture-perfect -- wood- paneled, traditional Alsatian decor. The service is friendly and welcoming. The food was good, tasty. My partner had a dinner of sausage and sauerkraut, and I had the duck confit. While the sauerkraut was amazing, the meats were more in the good range, the flavors mild. During the Market, they let you know in advance that there are two seatings --6:30 and 8:30, with dinner limited to one hour, 45 minutes. That keeps things moving at a good clip, and they seat everyone at once so they are running a little tight. And they're serious -- at 1 hour, 45, we heard a neighboring table say, "We need to go," and the server replied, "Yes, you do." Well, we had been warned. Again, they are very up front about this policy.

My server was great. Loved the Burgundy wine the best. Even over the Pinot noir. Also loved the escargot, the bacon pie, and the food gras on the regular menu (not the specialty menu). Great price for Michelin star!

Two local friends recommended Chez Yvonne for traditional Alsacian food, so we had to come here. The restaurant is super cute, with its traditional Alsatian decor. We got Choucroute Garnie and Coq au Riesling; both were delicious. Service was great as well. The staff helped us pick the traditional dishes and was very kind in making sure that we were comfortable during our meal. I felt like I was invited to a local Alsatian family home!

Typical Alsatian food served in a very traditional setting. Dark wood, dark and cozy downstairs and a brighter upstairs with windows overlooking the pedestrian street below. The service was very professional and helpful in selecting our choices. We opened with an onion and bacon tart that was exquisite. They have a way with tart crusts. Followed by sausage and sauerkraut for me, the beef stew special for my husband. Delicious, large portions and incredibly tasty.

      The foot is very good.
But seating was bad, even though we booked in advance, we got a table next to the exit (in wintertime).
After discussions, we got a table at an expected place (just a normal table, why not in the first place?).
We got not served right away, even though guests came after us served first ( same drinks).
This all reduces the stars to 2.

Try the young rooster and Spätzle. Excellent. The beef pot roast was bland and akin to what my wife prepares in her crockpot. Boring and not that flavorful. They have a children's menu, which is nice, but the sausage were not that good. Vienna beef Hot Dogs would be better. The fried potatoes and side dishes were good, as was the dessert. Service was decent, but felt like perfunctionary touristy place it is.

Visited this quaint restuarant for lunch opening day of the Christmas market. Reservations a must. Staff very friendly, some English spoken. Limited options if you aren't a huge meat lover. We split fois gras appetizer. Small, however exceptional flavor. Sauerkraut very tasty! Would I rush back? Probably not because of limited selection for myself not being a huge meat lover, however everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. Potatoes great! A bit on the pricey side for lunch.

Had reservations made by our hotel concierge. We were given menus in German and English. Halfway through our dinner, a French couple sat at the next table and were given a chalkboard with the chef specials. As we left, we saw the specials on a board in the window and regretted being treated differently as we are not French but would have selected from the daily specials menu. Have been to France 14 times and speak survival French so we resent discrimination in treatment.

We were so lucky to find this place! The pork knuckle with sauerkraut was exceptional! We also tried the smoked sausage. Outstanding too!
Customer services is really good. We spoke broken french and luckily they spoke perfect English. Super friendly and relax.
