The TS-451A is founded on the advanced Intel Celeron 14nm 1.6 GHz dual-core processor, which features a low thermal performance (TDP of only 6W) and is capable of automatically increasing the frequency to as high as 2.48GHz. Combined with a dual-channel 2/4GB DDR3L-1600 RAM (upgradable to 8GB), a dual-port Gigabit LAN and a 6GB/sec SATA, the TS-451A can deliver a data bandwidth of up to 213.4MB/sec to optimise business-critical applications while remaining energy efficient. The TS-451A also offers Intel's AES-NI hardware-accelerated encryption to provide a data bandwidth of up to 205.14MB/sec for both your NAS and shared folders.
Direct Access to Files Using the QuickAccess USB Port
The TS-451A features an innovative USB 3.0 QuickAccess port that allows you to initially install and configure your TS-451A without having to be connected to the network. Files and data stored on the TS-451A can also be accessed directly using Qfinder Pro and USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 MicroB cables. Additionally, you can assign users access rights to different folders to prevent unauthorised access to important files.
Use Media Freely with Multi-Zone Multimedia Control
Use the TS-451A as a multi-zone multimedia system to fill all corners of the room with your own media. You can centrally manage and transmit photos, music, and videos stored on the TS-451A to HDMI, DLNA, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Amazon Fire TV or to devices stored on the TS-451A (music only) via Bluetooth or USB. With the Plex Media server, the TS-451A becomes a powerful content delivery tool.

The TS-451A, which is equipped with Intel's advanced eighth-generation HD graphics, supports 4K H.264 video decoding and delivers 4K and 1080p video transcoding in real time for converting videos into universal formats that can be played on PCs, mobile devices, and Smart TVs. With offline transcoding, you can experience uninterrupted video playback on File Station, Video Station, and on the Qfile mobile app, even when you have a slow internet connection and select pre-rendered, lower resolution videos.

File Sync Across Multiple Devices and Cloud Computing
Qsync transforms your TS-451A into a secure and high-capacity data center for file synchronisation. Each file uploaded to the TS-451A will be available to all connected devices, such as computers, laptops or mobile devices. Qsync provides various ways to synchronise and group file sharing, greatly improving team project flexibility and collaboration. It also supports a centralised configuration and allows you to remotely erase the Qsync folder on the lost device to prevent data integrity from being compromised, or even recover the data once the device is restored.
Restore Snapshot Files and LUNs
The QTS Storage Manager offers an easy-to-use web snapshot that can easily back up data to the TS-451A and restore it back to any point in time in the event of data loss. You can take snapshots of both volumes and the LUN (up to 64 frames per bundle or LUN and up to 256 frames per NAS) and replicate snapshots of the LUN on remote Snapshot Replica servers by copying only the changes you make in order to quickly clone a snapshot volume/LUN as a local volume without interrupting the operations currently running on the system.
Qsirch - Smarter and Faster Search
The TS-451A supports the commercially-developed Qsirch search platform for quick file searching. In addition to viewing thumbnails and keyword search, Qsirch also allows you to search .eml files stored on the TS-451A and use customised search criteria, such as date, size, sender, and recipient. Qsirch even remembers your search history, allowing you to quickly navigate to the files you previously searched for. You can also use the Google Chrome Qsirch Helper to search for files on your NAS using Google Search.
A Post Office for Your Private Cloud
Qmail Agent is an online e-mail client and provides complete functionality for creating, reading, and organising e-mail messages. When creating e-mails, you can even attach files, photos and documents from the TS-451A. QmailAgent also allows iOS and Android users to quickly check multiple e-mail accounts with mobile devices. QmailAgent can also be used with Qsirch, which supports powerful e-mail search features.
An Extensive Surveillance Solution That provides Security 24 Hours a Day, 7 Days a Week
Surveillance Station is a professional Video Management System (VMS) for network surveillance that offers a user-friendly administrative interface, over 3,000 compatible IP camera models and expandable IP camera channel licenses. It supports real-time monitoring, recording and playback of video and audio with a wide range of customisable settings. You can also install the Vmobile application on your iOS or Android device and manage monitored channels whenever and wherever to help protect your office environment.
Storage for Hosting Virtual Machines and Container Applications
Virtualisation Station allows you to host virtual machines (VM) on the TS-451A and access them through a web browser or VNC. Virtualisation Station supports multiple operating systems, rapid VM creation, VM backup and recovery, VM import/export, snapshots, and VM central management. Virtualisation Station allows TS-451A and VM to share the same LAN port.
