THE MONEY: Her extended music discography may have landed her a coveted Super Bowl halftime gig, but it’s Fenty’s presence in the beauty industry that puts her on the Wealthiest Angelenos list. Fenty, whose stage name is Rihanna, is the founder and chief executive officer of Fenty Beauty, a company valued at $2.8 billion, according to Forbes. The Barbados-born singer owns a 50% stake in the company, with Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton owning the other half. In its first-quarter earnings this year, the luxury conglomerate reported a revenue bump for Fenty Beauty traced back to the brand’s visibility during the Super Bowl halftime show. LVMH also co-owns the singer’s Savage x Fenty lingerie line.



THE BUZZ: Fenty became America’s youngest self-made billionaire last year. While an estimated 113 million viewers tuned into her headlining gig at Super Bowl LVII in February, per National Football League policy Fenty wasn’t paid for her performance. This was the first time Fenty appeared on stage in years, and she revealed her second pregnancy during the performance.
