KAWASAKI W400 Custom
Japanese Custom Culture
Webike's Opinion
Here is a "KAWASAKI W400" custom by Webike community user "Toris". The Kawasaki "W series" is very popular as a base model customized for mid-displacement cafe racers. Even though it is not very successful overseas, for the Japanese market, the displacement of the W400 itself has made it attractive to many entry riders. It is a classic style bike, so a full customization by a professional or a light cafe racer style is not at all out of place. At the first glance, this bike is designed for solo riding with the single seat, but you can also enjoy a pillion riding on it. The main seat is separated by stitches and color schemes to ensure sufficient thickness and functionality without compromising the custom look. The silencer is a conventional straight style R's gear exhaust with an independent straight 2-2 structure without a bypass pipe, and the shape of the silencer is almost the same classic look as the stock exhaust, but you can feel the beat of the engine when you twist the throttle, which makes riding fun! The stock carburetor is replaced with a FCR Φ32 carburetor. With the advanced pre-setting, the acceleration from the mid RPM range is quite brutal, and the sound from the carburetor is also pleasing. The clip-on handlebars give this classic bike an even more aggresive look and ride.
