Apple, the only company that ships macOS devices, is currently the fourth-biggest company in the personal computing space, with a market share of 9.4 per cent and over 2.5 per cent year-on-year growth. This growth is boosted by the recently launched M3-powered 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models.

Festive offer

According to Canalys, the demand for PCs will continue to grow in 2024, with companies expected to ship over 50 million units of AI-enabled PCs this year. These laptops will include a dedicated AI accelerator, such as an NPU found on Intel’s “Meteor Lake” Core Ultra processors.
