About Dieffenbachia 'Camille'
Dieffenbachia was cultivated in England before 1759 and upper Amazon indigenous groups are known to have used their calcium oxalates to make poison arrows. Dieffenbachia flowers can generate large amounts of excess heat which botanists believe attracts potential pollinators to the flower's warmth. 🐝

How to fertilize Dieffenbachia 'Camille'
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Dieffenbachia 'Camille' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Does this look like spider mites? Just got it in the last week from a nursery! #Dieffenbachia

Is this normal or did I damage my plant?? #Dieffenbachia I accidentally over watered cosmo the other day when my 1 year old was helping me. I watered him twice in about a week. His big leaf has been more droopy so I thought he was thirsty. Baby distracted me and put too much water. In my daily check in I checked how fast it was drying and noticed some dry flat dead roots near the top. The rest of is is white and healthy looking. Just stop dead bits that came off snd a few seem a little flimsier that others. Is this normal or did i cause detrimental damage??

What's its issue. I can't find any bugs but some spots are looking ripped or chewed. #Dieffenbachia If it is a bug please help figure out what kind. It's been happy tons of new growth. 4 just opened and it already has 3 new growing. I'm just concerned about the damage. I included damage spots and maybe dirt maybe a bug? I just wiped the whole plant down on tues and didn't find/see anything.

I have new growth but the bigger leaves keep dying. I'm following the instructions the app gives me and have it near a grow light that's on pretty much all day. I trimmed off the dying leaves so it wouldn't waste it's energy on them. #Dieffenbachia

Weird darp spots on the leafs? These new brown spots are popping up on my larger leafs. I've been watering appropriately but I think the soil is the problem. It is water retaining soil. Do I just need to re pot or is there another reason? There's LOADS of new leafs growing in but the bigger ones are not happy. #Dieffenbachia

Yellow leaves Im convinced I have the worst luck with these plants. I cannot figure out why it’s leaves are yellowing and dropping off?? I swear it’s not an issue with watering cause it dries out between watering. Helppp 🥲 #Dieffenbachia

Dying dieffenbachia!! I don’t know why it’s dying or what is happening, about a month ago it seemed really healthy, I haven’t found any pests (other than my usual fungus gnats) and I’m pretty sure the roots are fine. It lost a browned leaf this morning. How do I save it? #Dieffenbachia
