Dieffenbachia Triumph
About Dieffenbachia Triumph
Dieffenbachia was cultivated in England before 1759 and upper Amazon indigenous groups are known to have used their calcium oxalates to make poison arrows. Dieffenbachia flowers can generate large amounts of excess heat which botanists believe attracts potential pollinators to the flower's warmth. 🐝

How to fertilize Dieffenbachia Triumph
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Dieffenbachia Triumph after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Bottom leaves have been turning yellow since the week that I got it. It’s less than 1 months old old. What do I do? #Dieffenbachia

Newly potted from nursery, and seems to be demanding more water than Greg prescribed (measuring soil moisture with hydrometer). Is this a peroid of adjustment? Otherwise healthy, some leaf drooping or just leaf relaxing post nursery. #Dieffenbachia

Transparent looking leaves #Dieffenbachia Hey guys! What in the world is happening? Everything was fine this morning and it looks like this now. What causes this? Do you guys have any tips to fix this and prevent it from happening again? Thank you!

I was at wal mart looking for a plant I've wanted for awhile. Though I didn't find it, I found this #dieffenbachia plant which I felt terrible for! And since this is another type of plant I've wanted for awhile, I just HAD to rescue it! The soil was more dry than a Steven Seagull's recent acting career, and the pot was too big for even the clump to fit, effectively making it impossible to water! I put it in a temporary clay pot without drainage that fit like a glove, pruned off the dead leaves with a sterile knife, and then gave the guy some VERY MUCH needed water. Here's to a good recovery. This Saturday, I plan on potting up a few overgrown foilage plants to a large pot together along with this new rescue. Is this a good idea, or should I wait for recovery? I'll keep youall updated if you remind me. May all your spirits and minds grow as anazingly as the plants you keep!

what’s wrong with my dieffenbachia? found mealybugs a few days ago so i quarantined Effan (my dieffenbachia) and first round was sprayed down GENEROUSLY with water/alcohol and the next day I went through each stem with a alcohol soaked Q-tip to get any babies or eggs missed in the spray down. He still looked sad last evening so i put a little water and fertilizer in his self watering pot. BUT he still looks miserable and now has yellowing leaves. He’s been doing well until now. #Dieffenbachia #DieffenbachiaBatch #HappyPlace #DieffenbachiaDugout

Until 3 years ago I would kill all plants I owned. But i was gifted a mixed planter. Some of those plants was my dieffenbachia. I am proud to say that I have kept her alive and she has even decided to flower for me. #happyplants #flowering #dieffenbachia

Elphaba is turning yellow on the bottom. I can’t figure out if I’m over or under watering her. I thought maybe the bottom leaves just weren’t getting sun, so I put a grow light on the bottom for an hour at 25% tonight. Any suggestions? #yellowingleaves #Dieffenbachia
