why is dazai called 'shuuji' ???Osamu Dazai, the Japanese author whom Dazai was based off of, wrote using a pen name. Osamu Dazai is not his real name. It’s Shuuji Tsushima. This carried over into fanon and so now a lot of fans like to believe his real name in the anime is Shuuji. Sorry if this is confusing it’s like eleven pm here :P
