Hello Everyone,
Longtime lurker and supporter of the lost media community here, this is my first time posting.
I wanted to present some research into a couple of cancelled Austin Powers projects that were in development for the Sega Dreamcast and PlayStation 2. They were both being developed by n-Space, and to be published by Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive.
Rockstar Games had previously published two Austin Powers titles for the Game Boy Color, which were mini game collections. Another game, Austin Powers Pinball, was released for the original PlayStation in 2002, but has nothing to do with these developers.
The first cancelled game, Mojo Rally, was an E-rated kart racer set to be released in 2000 until it was ultimately cancelled. Info about the game appeared in various magazines at the time, and character models have been shown, but the game itself remains a mystery. Though as far as late 90s licensed kart racers go, it was probably nothing special. Here are some pages detailing the game's existence:

Now the second game that n-Space was developing was mentioned by IGN and GameSpy in 2001, and scheduled to be released that year until it was delayed and quietly cancelled. Based on some older articles, it seems that this game got far enough along to be formally announced, but no screenshots or gameplay videos exist.
The GameSpy page from 2001 details the game as follows:
"Developed exclusively for the PlayStation 2, Austin Powers is a humorous action/adventure based on the film franchise of the same name. Meant to serve as a plot bridge that ties all three movies together, the videogame version of Austin Powers features several dancing and photography-based mini-games, several different playable characters, and a third-person action mode not unlike the developer's previous project Duke Nukem: A Time to Kill. Though originally scheduled to ship sometime in late 2001, Austin Powers was later delayed so as to better vibe with the release of the third Mike Meyers film, Goldmember. For reasons never officially explained, however, the game was inexplicably cancelled before that could happen and was never released for any territory."

So it seems evident that this is not the same game as Mojo Rally, and was it's own separate project. An IGN article from February 26, 2001 details much of the same info, briefly mentioning n-Space's work on a Duke Nukem PS2 game, which also did not happen. The same team was also working on the Dexter's Laboratory PS2 project which I've seen around here with various screenshots

As a fan of these films, I just wanted to bring these cancelled tie-ins to a greater audience. I'll try my best to keep looking for more info, but I just wanted to get this out there. Thanks for checking out this thread.
