Value of original run AIR CARS?

I sold the first run copy of Air Cars, last year, and I had the cardboard cartridge holder that came with it. I do not think that I got near $250 and I certainly got more than $50.

Why don't you just put it up with a NR? It will sell for whatever it is worth.

This guy is selling what I have for $250 and his information seems accurate.

I just want to make sure I sell it for a fair price. Don't want to rip off anyone, don't want to get ripped off.

See. There's the point. This reseller is 'trying' to sell his copy for $250. Doesn't mean it's worth that. Which reminds me... I need to put my car up for sale. I think $500,000 is a fair price... for a fairly uncommon Nissan NX Coupe. Don't you agree? Hmmm.

I think Minux has offered the best advise here :)

Yes I understand, but then I get feedback in PM's like this forum member who will remain anonymous:

"I have a guess for air cars, I would say somewhere around $300 for the cart & manual. The game is rated a rarity 9 & someone on ebay is trying to get $150 for just the manual.

$300 good starting point but it could be worth more or less."

"Lots of little twits on the site, I saw where someone offered you $50 and did not want you to get ripped off, if you don't get a reasonable offer put it up on ebay for 7 day auction and start it at .99cents & make sure you state how rare it is. Also a lot of people are looking to resell for big profits."

Just trying to pinpoint the fair value.

Sweet! A Pulsar NX?

I had a friend in high school who's older sister had one. She was SUPER, SUPER hot... and a couple of times she drove me home from my friends house. She regularly wore almost nothing (dressed skimpy), and watching her legs move as she shifted gears used to mesmerize me. Of course, she would be in her 40s now... hahah.

Anyway, then I got a Pontiac Fiero with a V6, and my friend got a Ford Escort GT and we both used to think we were so awesome.

I still have Aircars #1 and Aircars #2 from the original 1990's run with manufacturer-printed serial numbers on the cart stickers... these are the only carts they put serial numbers on. No plans to sell, though. :D

As far as the general value of carts from the original run, I would think $50 minimum is a fair starting price and $100 final price is possible.

Interesting to see how much this will go for, especialy considering you can get virtually the exact thing from B&C for $70 ($50 cart + $20 manual) and with another batch of improved KA version Aircars on the horizon.

From what I've read and seen, the B&C version has "B&C" in very small typeface on the label.

Some people are just collectors in the truest sense of the word and want the authentic original release.

I'm curious also. Started it at .99 to be completely fair.

I had one before that was still sealed in original shrinkwrap. This is actually the first time i've seen it loose (with manual) so now i'm double curious ;)

Good luck on your auction btw.
