I have 8 more pictures on my latest page. It's better to view there because you'll see full pictures, not part of pictures:

Comments and suggestions are welcome! :)

I LOVE the Bergepanzer IV, that one's a real knockout!!! I really like the rust and wear texture in the track links, you did a superb weathering job on that model. That one is absolutly top notch work.

I only wish I could say as much for the motorcycle. The model is built well, but the painting leaves it looking kinda flat and dull. It just doesn't seem to have the depth of texture that it should, especially the gun and shocks. I think perhaps a really thin wash of black on those parts, allowing the color to seep into the recesses and crevices, would greatly enhance the apperance of those parts.
I'm probably being a little too harsh, but I happened to see a real one of those, fully restored and in N. Africa camo, complete with MG-42 on the sidecar and a trailer, on the road here in Phoenix not 3 weeks ago! I can't get the image of that beautiful machine out of my head, and it's hard not to compare this model to it. There are a lot of good points on this model too though, don't get me wrong. I like the bald tires and the luggage (including the MP-40 and other equipment) looks great. So does the mud collected on the front of the sidecar, that's a great texture effect. It's a nice model all in all, although not your best in my own opinion.

TO be fair - 1/35 or 12/32 isn't a good scale for bike models of ANY sort :( Bikes either need to be smaller...you'd be amazed what you can do with the little 1/72 G3L Matchless from Airfix RAF recovery sets! - or bigger. At the scale of the BMW things like mould marks etc. are just SO big in relation to other details.

Mimbrogno, thanks so much for your kind comments on the Bergepanzer IV and for your suggestions on the motorcycle. I mostly agree with you that it should have been done better in many parts.

phylo_roadking, I agree with half of your comments, that 1:35 scale isn't a good scale for bike models. They gotta be bigger, not smaller! I'll show you BMW w/ sidecar in 1:9 scale, and you show me 1:72 one. This was built by the same modeler 7 years ago:

BTW, I'll get 6 more armors plus one 1:16 figure this evening. "Art Instructor" finished all 7 pieces in just two weeks. A new page will be made available on Monday 8th March.

As a motorcycle rider for over 45 years I have to admire the works you produced. I especially like military sidecar 'hacks' whether made by BMW, Harley or the current Ural. Hopefully I will soon visit Munich and maybe the BMW Museum there. Perhaps they have a few examples on display .......

Keep up the good work.

Many thanks for your kind comments on the works. These were built by "Art Instructor" who has been building for me and only me for 10 years now. I'm also a motorcycle rider for 35 years and the bikes that I use are dirt bikes. The present one is this. I've been using it for 3 and 1/2 years and will use it until my retirement late next year.:

I believe there are some BMWs on display in Munich and some other cities, don't worry.

Thanks again! :)

and you show me 1:72 one.
I wish I could! The little Matchless Don-R in question was carefully converted to a civvy "Rocker" and is now waiting impatiently at a railway level crossing gate for it to open on a OO layout in the Republic of Ireland!
