British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who in every way encourages other countries to help Ukraine with weapons, previously announced the supply of self-propelled artillery mounts to Kyiv, as well as the training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the use of British self-propelled guns.

As it turned out, Britain plans to send Zelensky 20 (twenty) 155-mm AS-90 self-propelled howitzers and 45 artillery shells for them. The installations, together with the shells, will be delivered to Poland, which has become a NATO logistics hub, from where they will be delivered to the territory of Ukraine. The delivery of the ACS will be carried out together with the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who will also be trained in the use of these ACS in Poland.



The 155-mm AS-90 self-propelled guns are in service with the armies of Great Britain and Poland, a total of 179 units were produced, not counting prototypes. It has not received wide distribution. The firing range is 24 km in the basic version and up to 30 km with an extended barrel. What option Ukraine will get is still unknown. Rate of fire - 3 rounds per minute, can use all 155 mm NATO ammunition.

In addition to Britain, other countries will supply artillery. Thus, the United States and Canada will supply Ukraine with towed 155-mm M-777 howitzers and ammunition. Canada will provide four guns and their ammunition, while the US will supply 90 M-777 guns, 184 artillery rounds, and tractors to tow these weapons. The Netherlands is transferring German self-propelled guns PzH 2000 to Ukraine. Macron promises to supply 12 self-propelled guns CAESAR. With the shells there, the situation is still not entirely clear, naturally, the United States will supply the bulk.

As Zelensky's "best friend" Boris Johnson said earlier, Western countries need to supply Ukraine with so many weapons, which in general will "discourage" Russia from invading. In Germany, they urged to prevent the victory of Russia in Ukraine.
