Second edition, rarer than the first one, corrected, partly original because increased by a fifth book with 12 additional fables. The Marquis de Foudras is best known for his hunting novels, but these fables are his first work, here in a second expanded edition, published one year after the original of 1839. They are obviously animal fables that bring together wolves and foxes, ermines and badgers, thrushes and pheasants.
