Background on this lawsuit that's referred to in the graphic below... Ion Maiden was a weapon name that I came up with while consulting for Danish 3D Realms during the development of Bombshell (released 2016). And then originally used by Voidpoint, LLC as the name of their game. When the band, Iron Maiden, wanted us to change the name I wanted to fight them (and we would have won), but the legal cost to win would have been $150-200k (more than the game budget itself!), so we decided to let them walk away with an unjust victory. Had the band been smarter they would have embraced this opportunity and asked to have one of their songs in the game (potentially reaching a large new audience) and we could have also put some Iron Maiden easter eggs in the game. But yeah, you'd have to be cool people to do things in a win-win way rather than suing an indie dev group.

1yCool. I really do need to (do as you requested) pull some of the things I created when there at Apogee and discuss. I have so much fun with the Blake Stone work.
