Jose Mourinho confirmed he will have Remy at his disposal during his pre-match press conference ahead of the visit of Palace. Chelsea need one victory to be crowned champions.
Miguel Delaney provided the latest:
With striker Diego Costa already sidelined, Remy had been expected to provide cover back when Chelsea visited QPR on April 12. He wasn't able to give it a go, however, as Chelsea posted on the club's official Twitter account:
Remy has been a solid deputy for Costa this season, scoring five goals in four Premier League starts and 12 appearances off the bench, earning a 6.50 average match rating from WhoScored.com. His pace and finishing have given Mourinho a solid option to bring off the bench late in games this season.
In his stead, Didier Drogba has filled in admirable despite his rising years. But Mourinho will be glad to have his options boosted by the return of Remy.
