The Cuckfield, occupying a prime spot on Wanstead High Street, London, has officially re-opened following an extensive four-week refurbishment.

Cuckfield Bar

The Cuckfield is a former 19th-century coaching inn, which had stables at the rear for patrons’ horses. The Victorian-style façade still exists and its position on Wanstead High Street makes it a hub of the community.

It has a large front bar room and, in a separate area, a big square room which then leads out into a vast beer garden and conservatory.

The pub has been given a facelift while keeping its traditional look and feel inside. Changes include new soft furnishings and an outdoor dining area, with two new bars and plenty more seating. New jobs have been created.
