2017
The city of St. Louis, Missouri, held elections for mayor, comptroller, board of aldermen, and the St. Louis Community College in 2017. Fourteen of the 29 seats on the board were up for general election. Additionally, the Ward 16 seat held by Donna Baringer (D) was up for special election, following her successful election to the state house of representatives in 2016. Partisan primary elections took place on March 7, 2017. The general election between the primary winners took place on April 4, 2017.[1] The following candidates ran in the Democratic primary election for mayor of St. Louis.[2]

The city of St. Louis, Missouri, held elections for its board of aldermen on April 7, 2015. A primary election took place on March 3, 2015.
In the Democratic primary election for Ward 22, incumbent Jeffrey L. Boyd defeated Deceal Burgess and Angela Newsom. Renee Keeble ran unopposed in the Green Party primary. Boyd defeated Keeble in the general election.[3][4]

Noteworthy events
Federal indictment (2022)
On May 25, 2022, Boyd was indicted on two bribery-related charges and two counts of wire fraud. The indictment alleges that Boyd accepted a cash bribe in exchange for helping a business owner purchase a city-owned property for less than what it was worth. Boyd pleaded not guilty on June 2, 2022.[5]
