Ariana Maki is an art historian, curator, and educator.

My Ph.D. is in Art History, focusing on Buddhist Art with specializations in Himalayan and South Asian cultures, as well as a minor concentration in Islamic art and architecture. I have served as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar to Bhutan, an NEH-Mellon Fellow, and am presently Associate Director of the University of Virginia Tibet Center and Bhutan Initiative.
