Xingjian Gao, Nobel Prize winner in 2000 literature, French playwright, translator, director and painter, will exhibit his works at the Ixelles Museum this spring 2015. Although challenged in their own country (cultural revolution, Tian'anmen events), the works of Gao Xingjian are a great success in France from 1995 with his novel The mountain of the soul. The Museum of Ixelles makes you travel in its meditative and monumental universe inspired by traditional Chinese practices. Michel Draguet, Director of the Museums of Fine Arts in Brussels and passionate about Gao Xingjian, will be the curator of this exhibition.
