UV Absorber

UV absorber, as one category of UV stabilizer additie, is also known asthe ultraviolet absorber. They are additives that preferentially absorb UV radiation and transform the UV energy into longer wavelength energy. A group of chemical compositions that protect the substrate from photo-degradation. The combination of UV Absorber with HALS is highly synergistic.
UV absorber includes Benzophenone type UV 531, also benzotriazole type UV P, 234, 326, 329, 360, 1130, plus other types like UV 312, 1577, 1164.
