Botanical Description

to 15cm or more across. Rosettes 15-25mm wide, fairly open. Leaves oblanceolate, soft green, sometimes obscurely toothed at the apex, margined with very short hairs. Flowers 8-12mm in diameter, pale pink to deep rose-red and having a yellow to orange eye, solitary in the leaf axils, just above their tips, one to several per rosette. Western central Pyrenees on slate and granite rocks and debris above 2500m.
