Japanese Wineberry (Rubus phoenicolasius)

It is resistant to diseases and pests of the commonly grown blackberry and raspberry cultivars. Besides it has also ornamental value.

The fruits begin to ripen in the latter part of July. They are small, juicy and very aromatic and hang in clusters of about a dozen.

Plant it on fertile, moderate moist soil.
